Indiana
Carolee's Herb Farm Near Muncie, Carolee's grows not only lavender but also other herbs and a variety of perennials and annuals. Stroll 20 themed gardens, browse the shops, or attend workshops on topics such as Woven Lavender Heart or Lavender Wand.
Willowfield Lavender Farm Willowfield sells all things lavender-bath products to lavender-blended teas-at a barn store. The store is open seasonally from early May through late September and online year-round. The farm also hosts weddings in its lavender fields.
Iowa
Loess Hills Lavender Farm Ten varietals of lavender grow on 2 acres of this western Iowa farm. Visitors can pick lavender, shop for lavender products and crafts from area artists, or participate in Living Loess Tours activities on the third Saturday of each month from May to October.
Kansas
Kansas Lavender Eight miles from Topeka, Kansas Lavender encourages visitors to tour the farm during the summer. The farm also sells lavender products, including lavender-infused eye pillows.
Michigan
Gabriel's Garden Lavender Boutique Stop in this small shop in Romeo-just outside of Detroit-for handmade bath products such as soaps and oils.
Lavender Hills Farm Michigan's largest commercial lavender farm is in Boyne City. Tours, teas, workshops, demonstrations and lavender products are available; check the website for a calendar of events.
Missouri
Winding Brook Estate Missouri's only commercial lavender farm (in Eureka) sells plants, lavender bouquets and lavender products, including bath and body items, lavender pillows and linens, and decorative wreaths. Special events include Sample Saturdays and Spring Tea Lunches (reservations required).
Ohio
DayBreak Lavender Farm Visit the farm during the lavender harvest from about mid-June to mid-August and pick a lavender bouquet. Two Daybreak Boutiques-one in Streetsboro near the farm and one in Strongsville-feature a variety of items, including dark chocolate lavender truffle mix and lavender-mint-salt Glow Spa Treatment.
Peaceful Acres Lavender Farm Each year in June, Peaceful Acres in Martinsville hosts the Lavender Festival. Check the website for a calendar of other events, classes and workshops, including yoga in the lavender fields and wreath-making classes.
Springbrook Meadows Lavender The Lavender Cottage Store in Hillsboro sells items such as a lavender creme brulee kit, lavender blueberry jam and A Taste of Lavender Cookbook, also available online.
