Don’t miss the Cranford Rose Garden at peak bloom this week. This diverse rose garden contains many old garden roses (those bred before 1867), modern repeat bloomers, and a beautiful selection of annuals and other perennials, which help break up the monoculture and help attract beneficial insects. Also scattered throughout the Cranford Rose Garden are “found" roses, for which no breeding information is known. Many of these mysterious roses were discovered growing near old homesteads and in graveyards.
